David & Goliath
Weeeel, actually it's Adam and Yu-kun.
At the park on Sunday this little guy took a shine to Adam, & I thought they would make a nice photo together.
Hard to believe that Adam would have once been the same size.
That little kid's got a lot of growing to do!

It's been a while since I blogged about gyoza, so here is some again in all it's glory.
Aki & I had a nice late lunch/early dinner at the infamous Fukumitsu Gyoza restaurant. It is pure joy. All they serve is gyoza.. oh and beer. I ate those two plates, half of Aki's as she couldn't finish all of hers & then I died a happy man.

On Saturday I have a class of little angels who never fail to destroy the classroom before I enter. On this particular day they had done quite an inspired reproduction of a Jackson Pollack classic. Not sure of the name of this one, but it's something like 'Black lines cluster-shat all over the board'

Could be worth a shload of dosh, not unlike a J.P. original.
Below here is 'Blue Poles' by the man himself. It was bought by the Australian government for the Canberra National Art Gallery for 2 million dollars back in 1973. The highest price ever paid at that time for a modern art piece (of shit). It is now valued between 100 million & 150 million. I say it's only worth what a sane person would pay for it. With that in mind it can't be valued at more than 60 bucks, which it would probably cost to hire two blokes to pull it off the wall & then throw it on a bonfire.
The brilliantly untalented Pollock died whilst driving drunk one night at the age of 44 in 1956.
Just thinking of how many more hundreds of paint based abortions he could have created if he wasn't killed just makes me want to shake his hand for being a hopeless alcoholic.
